Root-based Healing is a specialty psychotherapy practice based on Bainbridge Island, Washington, founded by licensed psychotherapist Iris Queen. Drawing on nearly 30 years in human services and behavioral healthcare, Iris created Root-based Healing in response to a gap she discovered in the mental health system—where trauma is often acknowledged, but rarely met with the depth required for meaningful recovery.

The practice is intentionally structured as a low caseload, high-touch boutique practice which prioritizes steady attuned care.
